1. Fully agreed.
2. I disagree and I think there should be at least two servers, one pvp and one pve.
Language barriers and marketing seem to play a role into keeping more than one server though, which doesn't make much sense since battleground and instance matching are cross server anyways, so it would only affect LFG.
However if there's only one server left for all EU it should be a pvp one.
3. Opposite to what you may think not every guild is beginner friendly for some of the reasons explained below.
Guilds taking in beginners tend to be more casual and relaxed so it just makes sense that they don't spam 24/7. As for some other top guilds they prefer to take in players that are already geared and ready to tackle up on higher challenges and if you'd be interested in these later ones you should contact their guild masters directly.
The deal here is for the new player no one takes you in and it's hard to progress or to know who to join to advance faster and making friends or arranging your own guild may take a while. Even if you don't want to be carried and just would like to go with players of your same level, those are not always available so your progression may be rougher as a solo specially if you don't level up during events using the respective buffs.
On the other hand, people don't want their gameplay to be based around carrying people that are not going to be active the next day, will not even try to get better at the game so they are just there to be leveled effortlessly or leave to a higher opposing guild. Since some of the gear progression is based on gathering multiple materials by repeating a same dungeon over and over, then the faster the runs the faster the progression, you can see why people would prefer more experienced/geared teammates there which in turn kills the game by favoring elitism a bit too much. Imho you should team up to compete in leaderboards but even for matching clears it's excessive.
4. As much as I loved the campfire feeling, the new buffs are way more convenient by far so it'd be a downgrade.
5. Fishing is the true endgame and it either should be planned to produce higher buffs that you could sell or adapt it for low levels too as you mention, though this may increase bot abuse even further but since this point isn't being tackled either way, may as well have low level players benefit too.
6. You're able to do that by using more than one character. Still it would be nice to have more content availability for hardcore players. In that regard, pk should be reenabled and gathering limitations should be removed. I'm unsure about crafting though.
7. As for weapon and armor it's pretty simple, just follow the dungeon progression in your instance matching to get proper materials for upgrading. Get your Kaia set up to +15 that's the max, then you can upgrade it into Kaia Soul which is in turn upgradable to +9 if I'm not mistaken and it's the current best set.
8. Glad that you enjoy it, have fun!
